Baccarat Protocols
Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards which are of a value less than 10 are worth face value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they merely appear as the 2 hands to be played).
2 hands of two cards will now be played to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for every hand shall be the grand total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dumped. For example, a hand of 7 and five produces a total of 2 (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).
A third card might be dealt depending on the following protocols:
- If the player or banker has a tally of 8 or 9, both players stand.
- If the gambler has five or lower, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.
- If player stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the player hits, a chart shall be used to judge if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The higher of the 2 scores wins. Successful bets on the banker payout nineteen to 20 (even money less a 5 percent commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so ensure you have $$$$$ remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Baccarat Strategy
