Punto Banco Regulations and Strategy
Punto Banco Regulations
Baccarat is enjoyed with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below 10 are worth their printed value and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).
Two cards are given to both the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, although the 1st number is ignored. For example, a hand of 5 and 6 has a total of one (5 plus six equals eleven; ditch the first ‘1′).
A 3rd card could be dealt using the following rules:
- If the gambler or bank achieves a score of 8 or 9, both players hold.
- If the gambler has less than five, he takes a card. Players otherwise stay.
- If the player stays, the banker hits on a total lower than five. If the player takes a card, a guide is employed to figure out if the house stays or takes a card.
Baccarat Odds
The better of the 2 hands wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out 19 to 20 (equal money minus a 5 percent commission. The Rake is recorded and paid off once you leave the game so make sure you have cash left before you leave). Winning bets on the gambler pay 1 to 1. Winning wagers for tie usually pays 8:1 but sometimes 9:1. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be wary of putting money on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for nine to one vs. 8:1)
Wagered on properly baccarat provides fairly decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Banque Scheme
As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has quite a few accepted misconceptions. One of which is close to a false impression in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Keeping track of previous outcomes at a table is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our paper needs.
The most accepted and probably the most accomplished plan is the one-three-two-six plan. This tactic is deployed to build up winnings and minimizing losses.
Start by placing one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a sum total of three dollars on the second bet. Should you win you will now have 6 on the game table, pull off four so you keep 2 on the third wager. If you come away with a win on the third wager, deposit two on the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th bet.
If you don’t win on the initial bet, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed by a loss on the second causes a loss of 2. Success on the initial two with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a take of 2. And success on the first three with a hit on the 4th means you break even. Succeeding at all four wagers leaves you with twelve, a take of ten. This means you can squander the 2nd bet 5 times for each favorable streak of 4 rounds and in the end, break even.
