Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards of a value less than 10 are said to be at their printed value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they merely appear as the two hands to be given out).

2 hands of two cards will now be given to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for any hand is the sum of the 2 cards, but the initial digit is removed. For eg, a hand of seven and 5 produces a tally of 2 (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card can be given out depending on the foll. guidelines:

- If the player or banker has a total score of eight or nine, each gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or less, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart will be used in order to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the two scores is the winner. Successful wagers on the banker pay 19 to twenty (even money less a five percent commission. Commission is followed closely and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure that you have $$$$$ still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie customarily pay eight to one and on occasion 9 to one. (This is a terrible wager as ties will occur lower than one every 10 hands. abstain from laying money on a tie. Regardless odds are substantially better – 9 to 1 vs. eight to 1)

When done properly, baccarat offers generally good odds, away from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with most games, Baccarat has some established myths. One of which is close to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way an indicator of future results. Keeping track of prior results on a chart is simply a waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most commonly used and probably most successful tactic is the one-three-2-6 technique. This plan is used to magnify payouts and limiting risk.

start by wagering one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, subtract four so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the 3rd bet, add two to the four on the table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th bet.

If you don’t win on the 1st wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed up by loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Attaining a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. Therefore that you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
