Punto Banco Regulations

Punto banco is enjoyed with eight decks in a shoe. Cards under 10 are worth their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).

Two cards are dealt to both the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The score for each hand is the sum of the cards, however the 1st digit is dumped. e.g., a hand of five and six has a total of 1 (five plus six equals eleven; ignore the first ‘one’).

A third card will be given out using the rules below:

- If the player or house has a total of 8 or nine, the two players hold.

- If the gambler has 5 or less, she hits. Players holds otherwise.

- If the player holds, the banker hits on five or lower. If the player hits, a table is used to determine if the banker holds or takes a card.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 totals wins. Winning bets on the banker pay out 19 to 20 (even money less a 5% rake. Commission are tracked and paid off once you depart the game so ensure you have cash left before you depart). Winning bets on the player pays 1:1. Winning bets for a tie usually pays out at 8 to 1 but sometimes 9:1. (This is a awful wager as ties happen less than 1 in every ten rounds. Avoid gambling on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for 9:1 versus 8 to 1)

Wagered on properly baccarat chemin de fer gives relatively good odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Strategy

As with all games baccarat banque has a handful of familiar false impressions. One of which is close to a misconception in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of events yet to happen. Recording past outcomes on a page of paper is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.

The most familiar and probably the most successful plan is the one, three, two, six plan. This method is employed to pump up earnings and limit losses.

Start by wagering 1 chip. If you win, add another to the two on the table for a sum total of 3 dollars on the second bet. Should you win you will retain six on the game table, take away four so you keep 2 on the third bet. If you succeed on the 3rd bet, put down two to the four on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth wager.

Should you lose on the 1st round, you take a hit of one. A win on the 1st bet followed by a loss on the 2nd causes a loss of two. Wins on the initial two with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a profit of two. And wins on the initial 3 with a loss on the fourth means you experience no loss. Winning at all 4 bets leaves you with 12, a take of ten. This means you can not win on the 2nd wager 5 instances for each favorable streak of 4 wagers and in the end, balance the books.
