Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards with less than a value of 10 are said to be at face value meanwhile 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they just portray the 2 hands to be played).

2 hands of 2 cards shall then be given out to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for any hand shall be the sum of the 2 cards, but the first digit is removed. For eg, a hand of seven and 5 produces a value of two (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be played depending on the following guidelines:

- If the bettor or banker has a tally of eight or nine, then both players stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or less, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart shall be used to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores will be the winner. Winning wagers on the banker pay at 19 to twenty (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so be sure to have funds left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie typically pay 8 to one and on occasion 9 to one. (This is a terrible gamble as ties happen less than 1 every 10 hands. Run away from wagering on a tie. Regardless odds are thoroughly better – nine to 1 versus eight to 1)

When played accurately, baccarat presents pretty decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with many games, Baccarat has some common false impressions. 1 of which is close to a roulette myth. The past is not an indicator of future results. Tracking of historic conclusions on a chart is simply a complete waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most commonly used and feasibly most successful technique is the one-three-two-six method. This plan is used to build up payouts and minimizing risk.

Begin by gambling 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away four so you have 2 on the 3rd wager. If you win the 3rd wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a sum of 6 on the fourth wager.

If you lose on the initial bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the second will create a loss of two. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. Accomplishing a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. Therefore you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
