Baccarat Protocols
Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards which are of a value less than ten are valued at their printed number and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they just symbolize the two hands to be dealt).
2 hands of 2 cards will now be given out to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand will be the sum of the 2 cards, but the initial digit is dumped. For example, a hand of 7 as well as five results in a total of 2 (sevenplusfive=12; drop the ‘1′).
A 3rd card could be dealt depending on the following rules:
- If the bettor or banker has a tally of 8 or nine, then both gamblers stand.
- If the player has five or less, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.
- If player stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the bettor hits, a chart might be used in order to decide if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The greater of the 2 scores wins. Successful bets on the banker pay at 19 to twenty (even odds less a 5 percent commission. Commission is monitored and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure to have dollars still before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to one. Winning bets for tie normally pays eight to one and on occasion 9 to 1. (This is not a good wager as ties happen lower than one every 10 hands. be wary of putting money on a tie. Even so odds are radically better – 9 to 1 vs. 8 to one)
When done accurately, baccarat presents generally decent odds, away from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Strategy
As with just about all games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. One of which is quite similar to a roulette myth. The past is never actually an actual indicator of future events. Tracking of prior outcomes on a chart is simply a complete waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.
The most commonly used and feasibly most successful tactic is the 1-3-2-six method. This method is employed to amplify profits and controlling risk.
start by wagering one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away 4 so you have two on the third bet. If you win the 3rd bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the 4th bet.
If you don’t win on the first bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the second creates a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. A win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. Thus you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
