Punto Banco Rules and Plan

Baccarat Principles

Baccarat banque is played with 8 decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are worth their printed number and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two cards are dealt to both the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The score for every hand is the total of the two cards, however the beginning number is discarded. e.g., a hand of 5 and 6 has a score of 1 (5 plus 6 equals eleven; dump the 1st ‘1′).

A 3rd card may be dealt using the following rules:

- If the gambler or banker gets a total of eight or 9, both players stand.

- If the player has less than 5, he takes a card. Players otherwise stay.

- If the player holds, the bank hits on a total less than five. If the player takes a card, a table is employed to decide if the house stays or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The better of the two hands wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout nineteen to Twenty (equal money minus a 5 percent rake. Commission are kept track of and paid off once you leave the game so be sure to have funds left just before you depart). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1:1. Winning wagers for a tie usually pays 8:1 but on occasion 9:1. (This is a awful bet as ties happen lower than one in every 10 hands. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. However odds are astonishingly greater for 9:1 versus eight to one)

Played correctly baccarat provides pretty decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Strategy

As with all games punto banco has a handful of accepted misunderstandings. One of which is similar to a myth in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of future actions. Recording previous results at a table is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper needs.

The most accepted and definitely the most favorable strategy is the one-three-two-six tactic. This technique is deployed to build up earnings and limit losses.

Start by wagering one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 dollars on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have 6 on the table, pull off 4 so you are left with two on the third wager. Should you succeed on the third bet, add 2 on the 4 on the table for a sum total of six on the 4th wager.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you take a hit of 1. A profit on the initial round followed by a loss on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Success on the first 2 with a hit on the third gives you with a take of 2. And success on the 1st three with a loss on the 4th means you balance the books. Winning at all four wagers leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you will be able to not win on the 2nd round 5 times for every successful run of 4 bets and still break even.
