Baccarat Banque Policies

Punto banco is played with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below ten are worth their printed number while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the sum of the cards, although the beginning number is dumped. e.g., a hand of 5 and 6 has a total of one (5 plus six equals eleven; dump the 1st ‘one’).

A additional card will be given out using the rules below:

- If the player or banker gets a total of 8 or nine, both players stay.

- If the player has 5 or less, she takes a card. Players holds otherwise.

- If the player stands, the bank hits on 5 or lower. If the gambler takes a card, a chart is employed to decide if the house holds or hits.

Punto Banco Odds

The larger of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the banker payout nineteen to Twenty (even payout minus a 5 percent rake. The Rake is tracked and paid off once you quit the table so be sure to still have money left over before you depart). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1 to 1. Winning wagers for tie typically pays 8 to 1 but on occasion 9:1. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs lower than one in every 10 rounds. Be cautious of gambling on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for 9 to 1 versus 8 to 1)

Played properly baccarat gives fairly decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Punto Banco Strategy

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has some accepted myths. One of which is close to a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of events yet to happen. Tracking previous results at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our paper needs.

The most common and probably the most accomplished course of action is the one, three, two, six method. This technique is deployed to build up winnings and limit losses.

Start by betting 1 unit. If you win, add another to the 2 on the game table for a grand total of 3 units on the second bet. If you win you will retain six on the game table, take away 4 so you have two on the third wager. If you succeed on the 3rd bet, add 2 on the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the fourth round.

Should you don’t win on the initial round, you take a hit of one. A profit on the 1st bet followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a hit on the third gives you with a gain of 2. And success on the initial three with a defeat on the fourth means you are even. Winning at all four wagers leaves you with twelve, a take of ten. This means you are able to lose the 2nd wager five times for each favorable streak of four bets and in the end, break even.
