Baccarat banque is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below ten are counted at face value while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
