Baccarat Practices and Method

Baccarat Banque Policies

Baccarat chemin de fer is bet on with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards below 10 are valued at their printed value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand is the total of the two cards, but the beginning digit is discarded. For instance, a hand of five and six has a value of 1 (five plus 6 equals eleven; drop the initial ‘one’).

A 3rd card could be given out using the rules below:

- If the player or bank gets a total of 8 or nine, both players stand.

- If the player has 5 or lower, she takes a card. Players stands otherwise.

- If the player holds, the banker takes a card on 5 or less. If the player hits, a table is used to determine if the house stands or hits.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The greater of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the bank payout nineteen to Twenty (equal money less a 5% rake. The Rake is tracked and paid off when you quit the table so make sure you still have money left over just before you depart). Winning bets on the gambler pays out at 1 to 1. Winning wagers for tie normally pay 8:1 but sometimes nine to one. (This is a bad bet as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every ten rounds. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 vs. 8 to 1)

Wagered on properly punto banco offers generally good odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Scheme

As with all games punto banco has a handful of established myths. One of which is the same as a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of events yet to happen. Keeping track of previous results on a chart is a bad use of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our paper desires.

The most common and possibly the most acknowledged plan is the one-three-two-six method. This method is deployed to maximize profits and minimizing losses.

Start by placing one chip. If you win, add another to the two on the game table for a grand total of three units on the second bet. If you succeed you will hold six on the table, subtract four so you have two on the third bet. If you come away with a win on the third round, add 2 to the four on the table for a sum total of six on the 4th wager.

Should you do not win on the initial wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first wager followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you with a gain of two. And success on the 1st three with a hit on the 4th means you experience no loss. Winning all 4 rounds leaves you with twelve, a take of ten. This means you will be able to lose the 2nd bet five times for every favorable run of four bets and still break even.
