Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards valued less than 10 are counted at their printed number whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they merely portray the 2 hands to be dealt).

2 hands of 2 cards shall then be given out to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand will be the total of the 2 cards, but the initial digit is dumped. For eg, a hand of seven … 5 will have a total score of two (sevenplusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).

A third card may be played depending on the foll. guidelines:

- If the player or banker has a tally of 8 or nine, then both gamblers stand.

- If the gambler has five or less, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or lesser. If the gambler hits, a chart might be used to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores wins. Successful wagers on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even odds minus a 5% commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so ensure you have money left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie by and large pay eight to 1 but on occasion nine to one. (This is not a good gamble as ties will occur lower than one every ten hands. Avoid betting on a tie. Nevertheless odds are significantlly better – nine to 1 vs. 8 to one)

Played smartly, baccarat presents generally good odds, away from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some established misconceptions. One of which is close to a misconception of roulette. The past is surely not an indicator of future outcomes. Tracking of old conclusions on a chart is undoubtedly a total waste of paper as well as an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most popular and probably most successful technique is the 1-three-2-six concept. This plan is deployed to amplify payout and minimizing risk.

start by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, clear away four so you have 2 on the third bet. If you win the 3rd bet, add two to the four on the table for a grand total of six on the 4th bet.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd causes a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. Winning all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. Thus you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
