Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under 10 are give a value of their printed value whereas ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they merely depict the two hands to be given out).

2 hands of two cards are then played to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for any hand shall be the grand total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dumped. For eg, a hand of seven and 5 will have a tally of 2 (7plus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card can be given depending on the foll. regulations:

- If the bettor or banker has a total of 8 or nine, each players stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or less, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart is used in order to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the 2 scores is the winner. Victorious stakes on the banker pay at 19 to 20 (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is followed closely and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure that you have funds left over before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winning bets for tie typically pay out eight to one and sometimes nine to one. (This is a crazy bet as ties occur less than 1 every 10 hands. abstain from placing bets on a tie. Still, odds are substantially better – nine to one versus eight to 1)

When done effectively, baccarat provides fairly good odds, aside from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with every games, Baccarat has some common false impressions. One of which is close to a roulette myth. The past is not an indicator of future outcomes. Keeping track of historic outcomes on a chart is undoubtedly a waste of paper as well as an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and feasibly most successful strategy is the one-3-two-6 concept. This tactic is used to build up wins and cutting back risk.

Begin by wagering one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, subtract four so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the third bet, add two to the four on the table for a total of six on the fourth wager.

If you don’t win on the 1st wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed up by loss on the second will create a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Therefore you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
